"Bubblicity": features in the Tatler magazine, The Observer, Sun, Telegraph, Daily Mail, and Daily Mirror, Metro, and numerous science magazines and other periodicals.
Television:
Main features on: BBC's Blue Peter (May 2006, January 2008, February 2008); ITV's This Morning (March 2006, December 2006, December 2007); ITV's Let me entertain you! - Spring 07; BBC's The Slammer, Autumn 2006; BBC3's The Persuaders - Autumn 2005; as well as numerous news programmes including being the "And finally" on the ITV evening news! Smaller features on numerous tv programmes including Channel 4, Sky.
Technical: Indoors, ideally, a carpeted space (4x4 metres) with a black/dark background, access to a plug, use of a small table and chair, and if available, some rope and pole. Lighting is best from above/below. Air conditioning affects the bubbles negatively, and we would prefer it if this was turned off in advance (preferably 12 hours + but negotiable).
Outdoors: concrete, grass and most surfaces are absolutely fine. We will avoid bubbling on polished/shiny floors.
Samsam, as with all our bubble performers, can mix and mingle with no safety issues. If the floor is not carpeted, he would bring his own carpet for when he is creating really big bubbles as this uses more liquid. The liquid is completely safe.
